Rachel trained at Middlesex University and completed a directing internship at the HB Studios, New York.
Her work as an assistant director includes: Les Liaisons Dangereuses and Popcorn both directed by Robert Delamere (Liverpool Playhouse), Art (Whitehall) and A Slice of Saturday Night (Mountview Drama School) both directed by Hannah Chissick, Ducktastic directed by Kenneth Branagh (Albery), Blood Brothers (Japanese tour) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Comedy of Errors both directed by Glen Walford (Ludlow Festival).
Her work as resident director includes: Rebecca directed by Patrick Mason (tour), Equus directed by Thea Sharrock (Gielgud and tour), Shadowlands directed by Michael Barker-Caven (Wyndham’s) and Brief Encounter directed by Emma Rice (Cinema Haymarket).
Rachel formed her own theatre company, Rested Theatre Company, with whom she directed How Many Ducks in Stacey? (Union Theatre).
